Our research goal here is to show if and how different artwork, or “game assets” can affect gameplay. We want to know more about how changing artwork but leaving the functions untouched can affect what people take away from playing a game. We think that the learning effect in playing is not situated in the game assets, but rather in the gameplay, or the game mechanism.
We have one version up online, and we will present two more versions on February 5th.
